Below you will find important steps that new Christians need to take to begin to develop spiritually, and to become a strong disciple who manifests the character of Christ:

Next Steps

Step 1: Immediately search for and join a strong Bible-believing and teaching church, and attend services regularly. This is one of the most important decisions that you will make (See Acts of The Apostles 2:41-47; Hebrews 10:24-25; Hebrews 13:17).

Step 2: Seek to be water-baptized as soon as possible, presumably at your church ( See Mark 16:16; Acts 2:36-40 ; Acts 16:29-33; Acts 22:12-16).

Step 3: Read the Word of God daily ( See John 8: 31-32 ; Romans 12:1-2 ; James 1:19-22; 1 Peter 2: 1-3).

Step 4: Pray to our Heavenly Father in the name of the Lord Jesus. Ask Him for wisdom, guidance, strength, even to overcome sins, bad habits, shortcomings ( See Matthew 6: 9-14 ; Matthew 26:40-41 ; Hebrews 4:14-16 ; James 1:5-8).
