Points to Remember
-Regardless of which office ministry/ministries someone may stand in, all true and effective ministry flows from the Lord.
-The ministry of the apostle and that of the evangelist share some operations or features, the main difference being that the apostle establishes and oversees churches, and the evangelist does not.
[ Some people may even start out as strictly evangelists; and at some point, the Lord may call them into apostolic ministry]
-Pastors do not just feed sheep the Word; but they are called to “watch”, pray, and counsel them, as well, with loving care.
-Prophets are even today the “mouthpiece(s)” of God, but have bona fide ministries of God’s Word; and whatever they minister out as prophets must align with God’s written Word.
-Teachers minister the Word with revelation of the Word and authority that comes from God.
