[ Tongues are a supernatural manifestation of the Holy Ghost, in which a person speaks a message or prayer forth in a language that he or she has not learned].

Points to Remember

-The baptism of the Holy Spirit is a different operation of Spirit of God than His work at salvation of persuading the unbeliever of the truth of the gospel, and then entering INTO the heart of that person at the new birth in Christ.

-As with salvation through the substitutionary death of Christ , the baptism of/with the Holy Ghost will be in effect until the Church Age ends when Christ catches the church away to Heaven.

-The baptism of/with the Holy Ghost is primarily the work of the Comforter to empower believers for kingdom service.
